Lewis Merthyr Band are highly experienced and versatile concert and major event specialists, able to offer a wide variety of repertoire and ensembles to cater for your specific event needs.
From international major event and stadium performances, through a wide variety of concert packages, to smaller scale corporate and community events, Lewis Merthyr Band is able to offer a huge variety of repertoire and sizes of ensemble to perfectly meet your specific event needs.
The band has performed internationally at Tivoli Gardens, Copehangen and the 5000 seat capacity Versluys Dome, Ostend. The band has also performed across the UK in venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall, London to the Wales Millennium Centre and St David's Hall, Cardiff; the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea; Llangollen Pavilion; Harrow Speech Room; Llandaff and Gloucester Cathedrals; and regularly at Rhondda's own Park & Dare Theatre.
Outside the concert hall, the band has performed regularly at the Principality Stadium for national events and corporate occasions. We have also worked on televised events for the BBC and S4C television, including a nationally televised Christmas Day broadcast with Sir Bryn Terfel. The band holds excellent relationships with a wide range of choirs, soloists and additional artists.
The band also frequently performs for a wide variety of events in and beyond our local community which include marching parades, concerts and smaller ensemble entertainment at community events.
