Youth Band
Lewis-Merthyr operate a youth band programme in partnership with three schools across the local area - Porth County Community School, Cymmer Junior School and Tonyrefail School.
Through the scheme, the band offers brass tuition and instruments to c.30 children in these three schools, or a weekly basis during term-time.
If your child is based in one of our partner schools and would be interested in your child receiving brass tuition, please contact your Secondary Head of Music or Primary Music Co-ordinator.
